hello, [digital] you

I am a Senior Digital Strategist at Campbell Ewald. I also sit on the Marketing Board for Leader Dogs for the Blind. Here's some of what I'm paying attention to.

"If they were serious about digital, they would have already seen all the [SXSW] keynotes they need to see online, or they would have left your agency."

It’s no surprise the lead developer of Siri, Ed Wrenbeck, knows iOS. But I’ve also seen what he and the Vectorform team have been working on lately. And it might surprise you. (Disclaimer: I work at Vectorform.)

    Accelerating the Digital Asset Pipeline

    Description

The are two forces shaping marketing in the profession today. First is the use of high quality computer generated images in all types of marketing materials from print to mobile. Second is the demand from consumers to receive information in a way that is most convenient for them; mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, connected TVs, etc.

Today, the average digital experience can take six months or more to create, involving thousands of hours of both design and development time. Each additional platform can add thousands more hours. How can we accelerate this process and save costs while doing it?

Vectorform, with a long history of creating award winning digital experiences, and Mackevision, the leader in photorealistic CGI imagery, spent the last year collaborating on a new way to create digital applications. There has never been a team that has come together from both sides of the production process to fundamentally change the way digital experience.

    Questions Answered

    1. How can we create cost efficient yet immersive and enjoyable digital experiences?
    2. How does this change my business if I’m a marketing agency or development house?
    3. How does this alter the competitive landscape of digital marketing?
    4. Where does the consumer fit in?
    5. What is the timeline for getting the solution into the market?
