Being on your own is never easy. Starting a business is never easy, not even after a few years. The game changes and you have new challenges each day. I can also see your point about not having all the noise and people around. There are good times for everything – silence included.

You’ll do fine, stay motivated, set your goals and always re-evaluate where you are at, what you can be doing better and “how am I making myself money today”.

Now that you are solo, you will never go work for someone again.

Congrats on starting your own business! I loved your video … I felt like you were having a conversation with everyone who was watching it. With regards to getting inspiration, it always helps to set small goals and make to do lists rather than thinking about the mountain of things you’re supposed to be doing.

When I get stuck on anything where I’m working by myself with no one around and have no one to bounce anything off of, if I feel like the wheels start to spin, I’ll take 5-30 minutes out to do something that totally relaxes myself; put a song or two on itunes, play some simplistic game online, grab a brew from the fridge (the list is endless). It helps for a few to get your mind off of what is at hand, and when I return to it (sometimes even after only 5 minutes) I feel a renewed vigor for what I’m doing!
